The Holland-High Potential scholarship at Maastricht University in the Netherlands was created especially for people who live outside the Eurozone. For the length of the Master’s program—13 months for a one-year program and 25 months for a two-year program—the High Potential scholarship is given.
A Holland Scholarship and a High Potential Scholarship are combined to become the Holland High Potential Scholarship.

Living costs: either €12,350 for 13 months or €23,750 (24 months)
$700 for health and liability insurance

Criteria for at Maastricht University Scholarship
The applicant must satisfy each of the conditions listed below in order to be eligible for this scholarship:
- English language is necessary
- Citizens of nations outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland are eligible.
- Candidate meet the requirements for getting an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands and have nationality from a nation outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam.
- Applicant do not possess dual citizenship with an EU/EEA countries.
- You have submitted an application for admission to Maastricht University’s full-time master’s program for the 2023–2024 academic year.
- You have never taken part in a higher education program in the Netherlands that leads to a degree. The application process is open to students who have participated in exchange programs in the Netherlands.
- On September 1, 2023, you will not be older than 35.
- Your most recent grade transcript or proof of academic achievement show that you have achieved exceptional accomplishments during your preceding educational programs. Maastricht University will give precedence to applicants whose academic records or certified letters of academic excellence show that they are among the top 5% of applicants for the 2022–2023 scholarship program if many applicants are equally qualified.
How to Apply for Maastricht University Scholarship
You must first enroll in one of Maastricht University’s participating Master’s programs (MA) before submitting an application for the scholarship. You will obtain a student ID number after submitting your application through studylink which you will need to fill out and submit the scholarship application form. Following that, you must complete the application form, provide the necessary files, and submit your application online.
